The Jerusalem Festival
For
Arabic Music

Two years ago, the Jerusalem Festival for Arabic Music was conceived from a man's vision. With the dedication and hard work of a relatively small group of people, we have succeeded in establishing one of the nation's official Palestinian Festivals.

Each year the festival has its own theme, its own character, but in general it spotlights a variety of Arabic Music, reflecting different aspects of the Arab World. This festival is an event that happens regularly and is supported by and brings together an entire community.

The festival provides an opportunity for local and international Arabic groups to perform their best quality of their musical experience.

Venues:

The festival takes place in two Locations:

  • Tombs of the Kings: a historical site, consisting of an intensive and important sepulcher, as well as ancient cisterns and other vestiges. The place is under the French Authority since 1886. Capacity 800, its located outside the Old City of Jerusalem.
  • Lutheran Church of the Redeemer: the buildings architecture is neo-Romanesque style distinguished by its round art, precise design and elevation. It is located inside the Walls of Jerusalem, 150 capacity.
